Softball Recap: Richton Comes Up Short

Richton fell victim to Sacred Heart and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 15-0. The Rebels' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Richton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee Autry, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Richton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Sacred Heart, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Richton will be playing at home against Heidelberg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sacred Heart, they will venture away from home to challenge Perry Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
