Soccer Game Preview: Cooper vs. Legacy

The Cooper Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Legacy Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Cooper took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Memorial get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Legacy's matchup on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past Memorial 5-0. Legacy haven't had any issues with Memorial recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Legacy's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6. As for Cooper, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.

Cooper came up short against Legacy when the teams last played back in March of 2025, falling 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
