Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 62-53 to the Manson Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 65-39 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Manson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeport will welcome Tonasket at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tonasket is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season. As for Manson, they will be playing at home against Lake Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
