Soccer Recap: Keystone Comes Up Short

Keystone fought the good fight in their overtime match against Karns City on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gremlins by a score of 2-1. Keystone's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Seth Slaugenhaupt, which was the first he's scored this season.

Keystone's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Karns City, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Looking ahead, Keystone will challenge Punxsutawney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Karns City, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against DuBois on the 24th.
