Bolsa Grande made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rancho Alamitos, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Matadors put the hurt on the Vaqueros with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Matadors, who have now won five matches in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 28-26, 25-22.

Bolsa Grande's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Rancho Alamitos, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.
