Basketball Recap: Northeast Dubois Jeeps vs. Barr-Reeve Vikings
Northeast Dubois fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Barr-Reeve on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Barr-Reeve Vikings 48-44. If the Jeeps were looking for revenge after losing 62-47 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Seth Wagler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Barr-Reeve, going 10 of 18 on his way to 25 points and eight rebounds. Looking ahead, Northeast Dubois will venture away from home to take on Perry Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barr-Reeve, they will welcome South Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Barr-Reeve has won six straight at home, while South Knox won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
