Football Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Johnson's offense. They were beaten by the Dripping Springs Tigers 52-0 on Thursday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Jace Tello threw for 54 yards on nine of 18 attempts.

Chase Ames had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 356 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground for Dripping Springs. Merrik Bloomgren was another key player, picking up 158 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dripping Springs, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Johnson has already played their next game, a 33-0 defeat against San Marcos on the 26th. As for Dripping Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 63-0 win against Akins on the 26th.
