Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Cardinals vs. Berkner Rams

The MacArthur Cardinals will take on the Berkner Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for MacArthur: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Berkner has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

MacArthur is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 64-33 loss at the hands of Lake Highlands. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkner). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Nimitz 78-48. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-15.

Berkner has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
