Basketball Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS
Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt an 81-44 defeat at the hands of the Sotomayor WILDCATS. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1049th, while the WILDCATS are ranked 234th).

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josiah Corona, who posted 11 points.
