Softball Recap: Edgar Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shawano Community, Edgar was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Clinton Cougars a 12-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Edgar now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clinton, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgar will face off against Columbus Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will venture away from home to square off against East Troy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Clinton their first taste of in-conference action this season.
