Recap: Roma Gladiators vs. Carroll Tigers
This season hasn't been kind to the Roma Gladiators, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were outmatched by Carroll on the road and fell 60-23. While losing is never fun, Roma can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1278th, while Carroll is ranked 59th).
Braedon Gomez was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals for Carroll. Boston Hills was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Roma bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Roma's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pearsall at 1:00 p.m. on December 1st. Pearsall is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Stephen's Episcopal at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
