Gabe Fields Turns in Season-Best Effort

Gabe Fields produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Central to the win on Friday. Fields rushed for 474 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 24.9 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (131.9) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards.

Central moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Fields and Central will welcome Park Hill South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jaxon Hicks's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 114+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

On the season, Hicks has run in 21 touchdowns while averaging 201.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 86.5 rushing yards per game.

Connor Hatfield Makes It Three for Liberty

Another Liberty player making an appearance on this list is Connor Hatfield. He threw for 86 yards and a touchdown.
