Volleyball Recap: West Aurora Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Aurora walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Batavia Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Blackhawks: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

West Aurora had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-14.

West Aurora pushed their record up to 21-12 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Batavia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-20.

Coming up, West Aurora will take on Benet Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Batavia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
