Baseball Game Preview: Friendship Christian Commanders vs. Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats

For the second straight game, Friendship Christian will face off against Donelson Christian Academy. Friendship Christian will challenge Donelson Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friendship Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Donelson Christian Academy a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The Commanders have beaten the Wildcats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Bradyn Stringer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Caleb Kring was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. He also brought in three RBI, which is notable because Friendship Christian is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 2-6 otherwise. Maddox Hallum also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Friendship Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Donelson Christian Academy dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Friendship Christian, their record now sits at 4-7.
