Soccer Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

If Olympic was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Harding University last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Olympic Trojans lost 7-1 to the East Mecklenburg Eagles on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Olympic now has a losing record of 2-3-2. As for East Mecklenburg, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Olympic will welcome South Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give South Mecklenburg their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for East Mecklenburg, they will challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
