For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Westlake and Rosepine meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Westlake Rams lost 7-1 to the Rosepine Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rosepine, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westlake will challenge Oberlin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
