If North White was feeling good fresh off their 43-15 takedown of North Newton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North White Vikings took a 30-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Prairie Gophers on Saturday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

North White lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Autumn Reif, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Clinton Prairie had a senior duo take command as Abbey Swan went 5 for 11 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and four steals and Hyleigh Wilson put up seven points and five assists. Wilson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Clinton Prairie, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North White will host DeMotte Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. DeMotte Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North White surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clinton Prairie, they will welcome Frontier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Clinton Prairie's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Frontier has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road.
