Basketball Recap: Southeast Find Success + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burns, Southeast was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Encampment Tigers with a 55-49 victory. For the Cyclones, this counts as revenge for the 59-50 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Southeast had a senior duo take command as TJ Moats dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards and Beaux Shimic shot 50% from the field on his way to 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Shimic. Bryce Booth was another key player, putting up four points.

Southeast was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Southeast's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Encampment, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-46 win against Kaycee on the 19th. As for Encampment, they have also already played their next game, a 60-28 victory against Guernsey-Sunrise on the 19th.
