Soccer Game Preview: Lake View vs. Estacado

The Lake View Chiefs will take on the Estacado Matadors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

While Lake View's win against Pecos wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lake View came out on top in a nail-biter against Pecos on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Estacado was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Aubriana Betancur and Madie Garcia scored both of Estacado's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

With that draw, Estacado's record moves to 7-6-3. As for Lake View, the win got them back to even at 9-9-1.

Lake View skirted past Estacado 2-1 in their previous meeting back in February. Will Lake View repeat their success, or does Estacado have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
