Everything went their way against the Guilford Vikings on Friday as they made off with a 25-2 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Kendra Kuhlemeier was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Kuhlemeier was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jorja Johnson was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Anna Dampman was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Pearl City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guilford only posted an OBP of .368.
