Baseball Recap: Wyandotte Comes Up Short

Wyandotte managed to slip by Harmon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 19-9 to the Hawks on Saturday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jamarion Madlock and Jayden Dockery stepped up to the plate in a big way. Madlock scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Dockery scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Dockery has become a key player for Wyandotte: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise. Diego Uribe also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Wyandotte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Harmon, their record now sits at 4-5.

Wyandotte didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 loss against Highland Park on the 12th. As for Harmon, they will challenge Schlagle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
