The Cactus Shadows Falcons will take on the Lee Williams Volunteers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cactus Shadows is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Friday, Cactus Shadows got the win against Eastmark by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cactus Shadows got a great performance from Grayson Headon as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave Headon a new career-high.
At the plate, Evan Hanish was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Konerko, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Cactus Shadows always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastmark only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lee Williams ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Coconino 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Volunteers have posted against the Panthers since April 12, 2022.
Ian McGrew tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Lewandowski, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Norbert, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-4.
Cactus Shadows pushed their record up to 10-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lee Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Lee Williams' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cactus Shadows hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .401.
