It was a good run, but Seton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Notre Dame. The matchup marked the Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Seton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubri Korfhagen, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Breylee Schmutte, who earned five points.

Even though they lost, Seton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Seton's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Mount Notre Dame, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Seton has already played their next matchup (against St. Ursula Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mount Notre Dame will square off against Ursuline Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
