Moore County won the last time they faced McEwen and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Moore County Raiders' way against the McEwen Warriors as the Moore County Raiders made off with a 57-37 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

McEwen's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laila Downs, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Downs' morning made it 31 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Shana Bohanon was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards.

Moore County is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. McEwen's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-6.

Coming up, Moore County will host Coalfield on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Coalfield sitting on 17 straight victories and Moore County on 15. McEwen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
