The Johnson Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Brandeis Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Johnson's tournament run continued when they took on Lamar on Saturday. Johnson and Lamar finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.
Meanwhile, Brandeis entered their tilt with Alexander last Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Keegan Vargas as she scored three goals for her team.
Johnson's draw makes their record 3-2-3 this season. As for Brandeis, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Johnson was able to grind out a solid victory over Brandeis in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
