Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Okawville). They blew past the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins 20-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Rockets have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Laura Cook looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, Kenley Hackstadt and Jilien Harre did most of the damage at the plate: Hackstadt got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Harre went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits Harre has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kate Borrenpohl, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Okawville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.

Okawville now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Father McGivney Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Okawville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wesclin on the 24th. As for Father McGivney Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Metro-East Lutheran on the 24th.
