Volleyball Game Preview: Arvada West Wildcats vs. Mullen Mustangs

The Arvada West Wildcats will face off against the Mullen Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Arvada West will be strutting in after a win while Mullen will be coming in after a loss.

Arvada West is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They blew past Westminster 3-0.

Arvada West's got stronger as the match went on, holding Westminster to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-11.

Anden Draper was the offensive standout of the match as he had 11 digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Mullen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against ThunderRidge, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-20.
