Basketball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 50-30 to the Riverside Pirates. The Railroaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Riverside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miah Carman, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Perk, who went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Riverside, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

Looking ahead, Bradford will head out to face off against Franklin Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will face off against Twin Valley South at 12:30 p.m. on February 15th.
