Basketball Recap: Ennis Falls Short of Jefferson in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ennis can now relate to. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Panthers. The Mustangs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jefferson beat Ennis by a score of 55-46 on Thursday.
