Baseball Recap: Howland Wins Going Away Against West Branch

Howland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Branch, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers blew past the Warriors 13-1 on Thursday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 8-1 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Sully O'Donnell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. O'Donnell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Howland got a big performance out of Luca Fronzaglio, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The Tigers are 2-1 when Fronzaglio posts two or more runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Brayden Kovarik was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Howland and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
