Baseball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

While it was Meridian who put the first points on the board on Wednesday, it was Kuna who put up more. Meridian came up short against Kuna, falling 13-5. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Meridian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Stucki, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That RBI was Stucki's first of the season.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Kuna, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meridian will host Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meridian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mountain View has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Kuna, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Owyhee at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
