Baseball Recap: Lindenhurst Comes Up Short

Lindenhurst was the 8-7 winner over Bay Shore when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday.

Lindenhurst saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Cima, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lindenhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bay Shore, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

While Lindenhurst had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
