Basketball Game Preview: Western Harnett Eagles vs. Hobbton Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Western Harnett Eagles will face off against the Hobbton Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Western Harnett will be strutting in after a win while Hobbton will be coming in after a defeat.

Western Harnett took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Monday. They came out on top against Red Springs by a score of 52-43.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Western Harnett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justice Alston, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Alston is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trent Long, who earned eight points.

Hobbton had taken Princeton down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Western Harnett's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hobbton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
