Soccer Game Preview: Pleasant Grove vs. Davis

The Pleasant Grove Vikings will challenge the Davis Darts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Pleasant Grove's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Salem Hills 1-0. Give the Vikings' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Davis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Desert Hills 3-0 on Wednesday. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Darts this season.

They hit Desert Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braxton Passey, Kyle Livermore, and Hugh Wood.

Davis pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Pleasant Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Pleasant Grove beat Davis by a goal when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 2-1. Does Pleasant Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Davis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
