Baseball Recap: Tahlequah Comes Up Short

Tahlequah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 13-8 to the Durant Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-7 last Monday.

Tahlequah now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Durant, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Coming up, Tahlequah is taking a road trip to challenge Noble at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Durant, they will square off against Hugo at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
