Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They blew past the Cumberland Gap Panthers, posting a 73-36 win. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Panthers are ranked 307th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Cumberland Gap saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brady Harris went 6 for 15 en route to 17 points. Cameron Burchett also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Clinton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Cumberland Gap, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
