Basketball Recap: Poolville Comes Up Short

Poolville lost against Santo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Poolville Monarchs received a blow as they fell 35-21 to the Santo Wildcats.

Poolville dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Santo, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Poolville and Santo could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Poolville (ranked 1039th) will meet Hico (ranked 501st) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Santo will square off against Lipan at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 557 places (918 vs. 361).
