Basketball Game Preview: Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders vs. Weatherly

The Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders will head out to face off against Weatherly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional strolled past Sullivan County with points to spare, taking the game 45-27.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weatherly). They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging an 82-39 win over Millville. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Weatherly is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional and Weatherly were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but Our Lady of Lourdes Regional came up empty-handed after a 61-60 defeat. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Weatherly's Ian Mckeegan, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 22 points in addition to eight assists and four steals.
