Soccer Game Preview: Randolph-Macon Academy vs. Foxcroft

The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge Foxcroft at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Randolph-Macon Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Randolph-Macon Academy fell victim to Fredericksburg Academy and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Randolph-Macon Academy have lost by exactly five goals.

Meanwhile, Foxcroft also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to Oakcrest on Tuesday. Foxcroft has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Randolph-Macon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Foxcroft, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Randolph-Macon Academy couldn't quite get it done against Foxcroft in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
