Eastlake won the last time they faced Mt. Carmel and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sundevils. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-23.

Eastlake's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Mt. Carmel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
