Basketball Game Preview: Loomis Wolves vs. Centura Centurions

The Loomis Wolves and the Centura Centurions will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Loomis has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

On Friday, Loomis lost to Blue Hill on the road by a 52-38 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centura). They breezed by Gibbon to the tune of 65-23 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Centurions have posted since February 13, 2024.

Centura has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Loomis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
