Soccer Recap: Bishop Lynch Takes a Loss

Bishop Lynch and John Paul II squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bishop Lynch had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Paul II Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Friars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th in Texas, while the Cardinals are ranked 33rd in Texas).

Bishop Lynch now has a losing record of 5-6. As for John Paul II, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.

As of now, neither Bishop Lynch nor John Paul II have any future games scheduled.
