Baseball Game Preview: Warwick Raiders vs. Denbigh Patriots

Warwick is a perfect 10-0 against Denbigh since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Warwick's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Denbigh has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Warwick got the win against Heritage by a conclusive 14-4. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Denbigh didn't have quite enough to beat Woodside on Thursday and fell 9-8.

Russel Clark was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Blazek, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Denbigh now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Everything went Warwick's way against Denbigh in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Warwick made off with an 11-5 victory. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
