Sherman is 8-2 against Tug Valley since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tide will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sherman lost 11-4 to Scott on Friday. The Tide have struggled against the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tug Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Huntington, falling 10-4.

Bailee Hall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. Katie Hall was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Tug Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Sherman couldn't quite get it done against Tug Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Tide avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
