Basketball Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short

East Henderson lost against T.C. Roberson on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles had to suffer through a 60-23 loss at the hands of the Rams. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, East Henderson still got an impressive performance from Mamie Hill, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 52.2% of the Eagles' points, marking the fourth time in a row Hill has had more than a third of the team's points.

East Henderson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for T.C. Roberson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, East Henderson will host Polk County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for T.C. Roberson, they will head out to take on Watauga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
