For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Highland Springs and Hanover meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Springers lost 3-0 to the Hawks. If the Springers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-6.

Highland Springs' loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Hanover, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Highland Springs will challenge rival Atlee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hanover is set to square off against their familiar foe Henrico at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
