Volleyball Recap: Haylee Beachy and Eleyna Beachy Secure Win for Shekinah Christian

There's no place like home for Shekinah Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-12.

Shekinah Christian was led to victory by Eleyna Beachy and Haylee Beachy. Eleyna had six digs and two aces, while Haylee had 17 digs and two aces. Eleyna has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 42 times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Shekinah Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matches.

Shekinah Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Liberty Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
