Volleyball Recap: Shaw Snaps 11-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Shaw won the last time they faced Carver and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Shaw easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-19.

Shaw's victory ended an 11-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11. As for Carver, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Shaw and Carver will both be playing Jordan the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Red Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
