Baseball Recap: Block Takes a Loss

Block was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-9 defeat last Friday.

Block's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Block has already played their next contest (against Peabody), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Rapides on the 26th.
