Basketball Game Preview: New Berlin Eisenhower Lions vs. Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings

The New Berlin Eisenhower Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, New Berlin Eisenhower came up short against Pius XI Catholic and fell 67-57. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Popes: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Wisconsin Lutheran's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 77-33 loss at the hands of Pewaukee. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Pirates are ranked third).

New Berlin Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

New Berlin Eisenhower couldn't quite finish off Wisconsin Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 and fell 47-44. Can New Berlin Eisenhower avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
